A GFI outlet simly has the interupt in the outlet insted of as a breaker at an 
panel there are also inling GFI units that are not at an end but inbetween 
these are mostly used in areas that there will be water, pools, Spa's that kind 
of thing. ony tiime you need on is if there is the posibily of shock due to 
miosture. I used to buld protable Spa's put them in all the time.
