Speaking of the newer style cockpit drains, our 77 model has drains that empty into the lazarette which empties into the lake. I am contemplating changing to the newer style of plumbed system that Mr. Tamblyn mentions. What are the pro's and cons of such a system. Two issue come to mind for me. The first is that the gutter surrounding the lazarette's lid have drain holes that empty into that compartment. The second issue is that the old style bilge pump, as mentioned in an earlier post, empties into the same compartment so it would have to be rerouted.Thank you all for your input.Mike Daggy
