That sounds about right. Add 3.3 for the antenna and you'd be 44.3 feet for
a tall rig. 

 

How much higher would you expect the bridge to be before you would try to
slip her under?

I have always thought my TR mast height is 41' plus VHF antennae.  I can't
verify this, but the mast legnth is 36' and the cabin top is approx 5' from
water line.  Standard rig is 1.5' shorter.
