Hi,
'Nautidog' has a bulkhead mounted fuel & water filter that has the appearance
of an oil filter. Harbor Freight has oil cap wrenches in metric sizes. Also,
strap wrenches - which can be used in other areas that you may not wish to
apply a regular tool (channel locks, vise grips, etc.)

Derek,

Welcome to the C27 group!

If you have an Inboard engine..

Include an Oil Filter Wrench .. I'd recommend an END CAP type.
Also.. for the water pump impellor.........A correctly sized "C" clip pliers...

Subject: catalina27-talk: Tool reccomendations

I have recently just purchased a 1979 Catalina 27. As I am putting together my
list of things to buy - was curious to hear any special tool reccomendations. I
assume just about everything on the boat is SAE. Aside from sockets, wrenches,
screwdrives etc. Anything that I should keep on board ?

Thanks

Derek A.
