Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)
------------

     10/24: 9CACKLING GEESE and 156 BRANT were seen along the Wildlife drive. 5 
ROSS’S GEESE were seen in Knox-Marsellus Marsh.
     10/25: 3 ROSS’S GEESE and a number of SANDHILL CRANES were at 
Knox-Marsellus Marsh. CACKLING GEESE were again along the Wildlife Drive.
     10/26: 2 ROSS’S GEESE and a single GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE were 
spotted at Knox-Marsellus Marsh.
     10/28: There was a second hand report of a CATTLE EGRET along Rt. 89 but 
so far there has been no follow-up.


Oswego County
------------

     10/23: 24 EVENING GROSBEAKS were at a feeder on Kibby Road in Mexico.
     10/25: 3 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS were seen at the end of Kibby road near 
West Stone Road in Mexico.
     10/26: An immature NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen along a railroad track between 
Kibie Lake Road and Johnson Road in Constantia.
     10/27: Among the 47 species seen at Derby Hill were a single WHITE-WINGED 
CROSSBILL, a RED-THROATED LOON and 8 RED-NECKED GREBES.
     10/28: A PURPLE SANDPIPER was seen flying with DUNLIN and SANDERLING at 
Selkirk Shores State Park.


Madison County
------------

     10/24: A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was found in among the three common 
gulls at the Madison County Landfill.


Onondaga County
------------

     10/26: 4 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen at a feeder in Pompey. A CACKLING 
GOOSE was found amont the Canadas at Van Buren Park in Baldwinsville. 191 RUDDY 
DUCKS were on Beaver Lake.
     10/28: The male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD continues to come to a feeder on 
Pendergast Road in Phoenix. 2 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen at a feeder on West 
Dead Creek Road in Baldwinsville,
     10/29: SURF and WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS were seen from a pulloff on Onondaga 
Lake Parkway.


Cayuga County
------------

     10/24: Among the 20 species seen at Fair Haven State Park were 2 LAPLAND 
LONGSPURS and all 3 SCOTERS.


Oneida County
------------

     10/27: All 3 SCOTERS were seen on Oneida Lake at Sylvan Beach.
     10/28: 15 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen at a feeder in Clinton.
