ROSS’S GOOSE SANDHILL CRANE SAW-WHET OWL RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD NORTHERN SHRIKE CAVE SWALLOW BOHEMIAN WAXWING WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL RED CROSSBILL PINE GROSBEAK EVENING GROSBEAK COMMON REDPOLL PINE SISKIN Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC) ------------ 11/15: 2 ROSS’S GEESE were seen at Knox-Marsellus Marsh. 5 SANDHILL CRANES were seen also. Oswego County ------------- 11/13: 6 CAVE SWALLOWS were seen at Derby Hill. 11/17: WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS were seen at Pine Grove and Sherman Road. 1 EVENING GROSBEAK was seen at Derby Hill. 11/18: PINE GROSBEAK, COMMON REDPOLL, WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL, PINE SISKIN,EVENING GROSBEAK and BOHEMIAN WAXWING were all found at Derby Hill. 11/19: COMMON REDPOLL, EVENING GROSBEAK and PINE SISKIN were seen at a feeder in Williamston. 1 CAVE SWALLOW and a WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL were seen at Derby Hill. Onondaga County ------------ 11/17: EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen on Shakham Road. A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen on Conners Road south of Baldwinsville. 11/18: A NORTHERN SHRIKE and WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS were seen on Shakham Road. 11/19: The adult male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD first reported nine weeks ago continues to visit a feeder on Pendergast Road in Phoenix. A SAW-WHET OWL has been seen for nearly a week on the Bog Trail at Beaver Lake Nature Center west of Baldwinsville. Madison County ------------- 11/18: EVENING GROSBEAKS and PINE GROSBEAKS were reported at a feeder on Carpenter Road near DeRuyter. Oneida County ------------ 11/18: Over 100 COMMON REDPOLLS were seen on Poppleton Road east of Verona Beach State Park. Cortland County ------------ 11/18: EVENING GROSBEAKS continue at a feeder on Shakham Road just into Cortland County.
