Many big flocks of Snow Geese passing over Mt Pleasant too, during my walk up there just now. Also some flocks of Canadas. Interesting watching the beautiful, ever-changing patterns Snow Goose flocks take on flying directly overhead , as individual birds reposition themselves within the flock. Canada flock patterns just don't seem so pretty.
Also on Mt Pleasant: a large flock of Snow Buntings. Great to be out on snowshoes and watch them against this dramatic sky. Reckon their feeding grounds have just been covered with snow.
