Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)

     6/27: A CERULEAN WARBLER was found at Mays Point. 3 BLACK TERNS were seen 
at VanDyne Spoor Marsh.

     7/2: 2 CERULEAN WARBLERS were seen on Howland Island. A BLACK-CROWNED 
NIGHT HERON was seen from East Road. An AMERICAN BITTERN was seen at Mays Poine 
Pool.

     7/3: A LEAST BITTERN, a BLACK TERN and 6 GREATER YELLOWLEGS were seen 
along the Wildlife Drive.







Cayuga County

     7/4: 2 RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS continue at Fair Haven State Park.







Onondaga County

------------




     7/2: A LEAST SANDPIPER and a LESSER YELLOWLEGS were seen at the Marshy 
Spits on the west side of Onondaga Lake across from the State Fair.

     7/3: A LEAST BITTERN was seen at the Outlet of Nine Mile Creek on Onondaga 
Lake near the Amphitheater. A RED CROSSBILL was seen on Shakham Road in the 
Morgan Hill State forest.







Oswego County

     6/30: An ACADIAN FLYCATCHER was heard on Cowpath Road near Fulton. A 
CERULEAN WARBLER was found at Phillips Point on the north shore of Oneida Lake.

     7/1: A BRANT was seen at Breitbeck Park on Lake Onterio if Oswego.

     7/2: PIPING PLOVERS continue at the Sandy Pond Outlet on Lake Ontario.







Madison County

     6/29: A FISH CROW was found on Seneca Street in Oneida.

     6/30: A RED CROSSBILL was found at the Earlville State Forest. An ORCHARD 
ORIOLE was seen on Ditchbank Road north of Canastota.







Oneida Lake

     6/28: An ORCHARD ORIOLE was seen at Sprong Farm Nature Sanctuary south of 
Clinton.

     7/2: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER continues at Verona Beach State Paor.

     7/3: An early GREAT EGRET was seen ay Utica Marsh.







Herkimer County

     6/29: A WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard on private property in the Town of 
Salisbury.

     6/30: A PINE SISLIN was found on Jerseyfield Road north of Salisbury. A 
PEREGRINE FALCON was seen in Little Falls.

     7/2: A SWAINSON’S THRUSH was seen near Limekiln Lake.

     7/3: A SWAINSON’S THRUSH was seen near Twitchill Lake north of Eagle Bay.
