You will need to enable it globally using

dot1x system-auth-control

and then you will need to make you ports static access

fa1/0/6
 switchport mode access

Now you should be OK

Don't forget to use the aaa login authentication default none so you don't lock
yourself out :)

Thank you,

Section 2.10 and 2.11

I am trying to perform section 2.10 and 2.11 to enable dot1x on port fa0/6 and
fa0/18. I'm using a 3750 as my switch, with c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE.bin
running.

I have the following dot1x configuration in place:

aaa new-model
aaa authentication dot1x default none
aaa session-id common

When I attempt to enable dot1x on the interface level, it doesn't give me the
option to do it. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here?

Cat3560-2(config)#int fa1/0/6
Cat3560-2(config-if)#d?
dampening default delay description
down-when-looped duplex

Cat3560-2(config-if)#dot1x port-control auto
                       ^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Cat3560-2#sh run int fa1/0/6
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 85 bytes
!
interface FastEthernet1/0/6
 description R6 Fa0/0
 switchport access vlan 567
end
