I would not worry about logging and monitoring commands, I left ip inspect log drop in there myself. As for ip mtu etc, those are changing things. General rule is if not asked for, don't configure it. I understand they are in DMVPN tunnel examples on DocCD, put them in there if your solutin does not work without them or if there are explicit requirements for it.
