Hi Jeff, Thanks for your answer. I was able to achieve the 1st part of the configuration in my lab.
I already had a 2851 as a GW. I had to change the code to 12.4(24)T ADVIPSERVICES, and my CME is now running and configured. I have transferred the firmware files for my 2 phones (7960 and 7925) as described here: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-express/68244-PhoneLoadUpgradeCCME.html My 7960 phone which is currently connected to my lab doesn't get an IP from my DHCP server, so I can't test further. After a SPAN on the phone port, I can see it is already configured with a static IP address (from a previous lab from one of my colleagues I think). I won't have a physical access to the lab until monday, so that's all I can do for the week-end!
