Dear Nat,
I am not familiar with 96-well plates for microbatch. BUT we use
384-wells microbatch plates fully compatible with multichanel pipettes.
We have been using them for the last couple of years and we are very
happy with their performance (ie. several crystal structures solved). Of
course the 8-channels fit on every other well, thus we first deliver the
samples in the odd wells of a column and later in the even wells.
The reference is:
384 Shallow well
clear w/lid si, nt
Nunc #264360 (100 plate case)
Price ~600 euros
If you want to test them, a 10 plate case without lid is available too
(cat #264350).
I am not aware of Nunc making similar plates in the 96-well format though.
I hope this helps
Cheers
Jose

(On a related note: does anyone know of good 96-well microbatch plates
compatible with a multichannel pipetter? The tiny 72-well plates are
terrific but I want something that's easy to set up, and I've given up
trying to make the Impact plates work.)
