Hi All mosflm output files are written to the directory that Mosflm is started in (this is not true for the new interface, iMosflm, but that's another matter). So the answer is to tell Mosflm which directory the images are in - this can be a write-protected directory or even on a readonly medium, e.g. CDROM. e.g. MOSFLM => DIRECTORY /mnt/cdrom/my_image_files MOSFLM => image test_1_001.img MOSFLM => GO should do the job. > Hi, > > > I am trying to use MOSFLM to process data that is stored in a protected > folder requiring root access --> /data. > > While I have two options, either (1) get root access and continue > processing or (2) copy the image files to my home directory and process > from there. None of the KEYWORDS seem to help either. Thanks in advance > for any and all feedback! Harry -- Dr Harry Powell, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, MRC Centre, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 2QH
