I've had a laptop with ccp4i running on it for the past couple of years. I can definately recommend Dell precision laptops (I've got the M60... I believe the newer M65 has duo processors for extra computational grunt). Fedora linux works really well and very easy to update with "yum". The laptops come with nvidea graphics cards and decent resolution screens which seem to perform quite well. It was also really easy to make it a windows dual boot (I'm still addicted to office). All the best, Paul.. ################################## Dr Paul A.
