It isn't a matter of keeping it or not keeping it.
It is a matter of writing it from scratch.
I have had a look at what is needed and it seems that there's a good
chance that I could implement wall-eye/cross-eye side-by-side stereo in
something between 5 hours and a week.

I wouldn't omit the old-fashioned stereo too, very useful, very low
cost, very efficient. Competition!

Hi,
Let’s see if this works. I have recently upgraded (I use this word
very ironically) to macOS Tahoe. This means that coot 0.9 no
longer works, because that requires Xquartz. So I upgraded, as
well to the latest ccp4s and coot-1.
I am unable to find out how to turn on stereo of any kind in
coot-1. Is it missing or am I just being stupid - if the latter,
please send a screenshot showing how it is done!
