[OT] Howto mount a DVD-RAM on Solaris?

Sorry, this question may be ot, but schilly recommends this list and
his tool runs on Solaris too.

Is it possible to use a DVD-RAM (Toshiba WD1101) under Solaris? If I
understood readcd correctly I can use the DVD only like a tape drive,
in raw form.

I'd like to mount the drive.
