That's possible... now I remember. Under Linux I had to patch the
kernel up to 2.2.14 because Linux used 6 bit commands and the Toshiba
crashes the system when it gets a 6 bit command... When using 10 bit
commands the drive works perfect.

That may be the problem on Solaris... now, I have to find a way to
force Solaris to use 10 bit commands. Or, "at least", cdread.
