Jrg,
I apologize for my ignorance about cdrecord-ProDVD. I just discoved
cdrtools not long ago. I am a very big fan. I have a Plextor 8/4/32 CDR-W
running on WinME. The drive came with Adaptec's Easy CD Creator. I recently
had a project that I wanted to distribute on a CD for both PCs and MACs.
The Adaptec ECDC program could not help me. That's when I found your
program. Cdrtools has more capabilities and is much more flexible than ECDC
and the other commercial Windows programs IMHO.
I don't think cdrtools is very well known among the majority of windoze
users. There is no windoze front-end for cdrtools that I know about. I do
not need one but I think if someone created one for cdrtools it would make
it accessible to many more people. I guess it is because 99% of windoze
users need a GUI. They will not work at the command line like people in
Unix/Linux. I think this would be a very worth while project for someone to
do. If I was a C++ programmer would do it myself but I could help by doing
the documentation (Winhelp/HTML help) and the setup/install parts if anyone
is interested.
