The fact that the drive may work in TAO mode on Win32 does not mean anything.
The drive claims to be be SCSI mmc cmpliant but in fact it is not.
Some time ago, I receiced a drive from Goldstar but later I got no more help
from Goldstar people. I could try again a last time..
If you are able to send m a SCSI trace from a program that is able to do TAO
recording with this drive, I may be able to create a version of cdrecord
that is able to handle this drive.
