Ah, never tried to write audio CDs in TAO mode since I will get these 2s gaps.
(Or did I misunderstood anything?)
Some audio CDs have no gap at all between certain tracks, and I always wanted to make
exact copies.

I had sometimes reproducible problems with cdrdao which probably seems to step into
the same
firmware-bug pit. (Though it was DAO!)

I've just tried to dummy-write an audio CD from .wav files in TAO mode.
It fails with (see attachment).

In DAO mode all is fine, except this:

cdrecord: WARNING: Drive returns wrong startsec (0) using -150
Writing pregap for track 1 at -150

So, if it's a firmware bug it still persists in 1.07. :-(

Sorry!
Kind regards

        Carsten
