Some initiatives may work out OK eventually, but so far, efforts seem to have gotten nowhere. In politics perception is half the game, or 3/4ths, and PB hit it even if,yes, his article isn't strictly objective. I disagree with many points, but I think PB is right that there's a general sense that other countries "like" Obama, but nobody fears him, and thus he doesn't command respect.
