old friendly high info cf-talk list? ;-)
cf-squawk is why we created this list and what its used for. The old,
friendly high info cf-talk list is still there and going strong.

A possibility.

Wouln't work. This was suggested before, tried out and failed. If there are
10 lists, who wants to be on them all? Who wants to worry what tech they're
posting to and being yelled at for posting SQL to a network list.
As for web based, the forums exists and is still going strong. The list is
perfered by many because it is a list. People look at it and think its the
only resource. Its not.

Maybe kicking people off the list when they are

period before you could post. Maybe don't let people into a list unless they
are invited and vouched for by another
