Seeing as I live quite close to an infected area you should understand the
circumstances under which he caught the desease. As far as I heard (and
they did not want to go into too many details at 6:20am), the guy had an
accident with a carcass and was totally immersed (and probably got orally
contaminated). So unless you plan to immerse yourself in putrified innards
of an infected carcass then Britain is a very safe place to visit.
The sad thing about this whole thing is that the slaughter is purely an
economic measure. What I find even more annoying is that Britain
subsidises farmers to the tune of �3,000,000,000 a year. This type of
industry subsidy really does not help, but this argument can go on and on.
