Todd,

Before I went into the working world I was attempting to get a graduate
degree in psychology - a combination of cognitive and neuropsych, so I
figure I know a bit about this area. While Lavoisier's death is an
interesting legend, I doubt that it really happened like that. The eye
blinking sounds too much like random spasms which may happen anyhow. 

That said, this sort of study begs for replication, any volunteers?

How about if we volunteer others?
