And re: your other post, yes I feel it's entirely a matter of choice for
non-Jews.
In my age group, it was "customary" to do to all male babies, unless the
parents objected.
Whether this was a "medical conspiracy" or "health myth" I have insufficient
info to say.

That's a good point. IMHO, it shouldn't be done to non-Jewish males. There
really is no point in that.
And by the same token, if I want to bris my son, no one should try to outlaw
it as "abuse." (Every now and then, I hear of someone trying to pass a law
to that effect, in England or in Europe.)
