Hehehe. Pretty accurate for me.

Economic Left/Right: -1.43
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -6.23

Kind of accurate, kind of funny. The questions feel a little loaded, and I
think may be Northern-hemisphere focussed. I think I'm a little more to the
left of center than the test suggests. I think the test will give slightly
odd results for us Aussies (culturally strong-willed, free-thinking,
anti-authority but pro individual ownership of property and right to seek
better opprtunity).
The political diversity here in Australia presents an odd situation where
neither of the major political parties have control of the Senate, in which
the balance of power is held by the "Democrats" (Libertarian Left). The
present government (as formed by a majority in the House of Representatives)
is a fairly strongly Authoritarian Right "Liberal Party" (a misnomer if ever
there was one!). Their generally pro-globalisation, pro-control policies
tend to be balanced by the left-leaning Senate and legislation passed is
frequently less heavy-handed than the government would like.
