What scares me is all those people who see him as some kind of hero, or
martyr.

| create all such people in the first place. Afterall McVee believed in what
| he did on a political level, he was trying to make a point in the only way
| his education, upbringing and sociological conditioning would allow.

| What disturbs me is not that he was put to death, in a lot of ways I think
| the death penalty is effective at "persuading" people that crime is a bad
| idea. Much more so than prison. But what disturbs me deeply is that there
| were people who could feel so little compassion that they stood around and
| cheered when he died. What McVee did is sick, but in some ways what that
| crowd did makes them worse in my opinion.

| We should be looking at the cause of the problem, not the symptoms.
