I just joined this list. I don't mind a few 
"off topics" but is it going to be full of comliants each time?

It's like SPAM delete it and get on with your life.

Tim, this is the community list, not the CF-Talk or one of the other tech 
related lists. This list was designed for OT posts so that the community 
can share thoughts, let off steam and even argue some in an environment 
where we're all peers. Politics is as on topic as anything else. On the 
other hand, tech questions are rather OT and should be sent to the proper 
list. They'll only get buried here.
