ah, you found the original story. I saw Chinese news articles quoting this, and one on islamonline. I figured that if we don't believe the Washington Times or the Australian Broadcasting Corp, we weren't going to believe those, so I didn't bother.

So. As I read this, if your son/father/husband is killed in US custody, you have no recourse, period? It looks to me like more than just immunity for the individual soldiers.
