I agree with you Gel. Retrospection is what is needed here.
How many people think the Australians should have allowed those asylum
seekers on the ship into their country?
Many of them were Afghans. These people should not have to suffer and die
because other innocents died yesterday.
Afghanistan is talking about the possibility of extraditing Bin Laden.
Presumably Bush's words last night are working and they are running scared.
This possibility should be pursued as rabidly as possible. If he was
responsible, he should stand trial and be punished accordingly. This is the
justice that makes the civilised world civilised, not the eye for an eye
stuff.

I am not and never was dissing anybody.
All I'm saying is don't quickly go off and attack a country, and potentially
escalate what happened to a global scale without taking the time to gather
the necessary information.
And while the talk of reacting quickly and destroying the place (thats what
I've been hearing here and I'm sure many of you have been hearing that as
well) is very understandable and is the same exact way I felt when my
country was nearly destroyed by an attempted coup in 1990, it is dangerous
if one stops to think about it and take the effects of such action to their
logical/hypothetical conclusion.
And that's all I'm saying. I don't want to see any more innoncent people
killed, or this violence against innocents to escalate and spread.
Someone mentioned World War III (and I'ms ure Nostradamus website hits have
skyrocketed)....it may be a distant possibility now, but you have to look
through history and major events such as this HAVE been known to trigger
world wars.
Nothing on this scale has EVER happened in the WORLD before. It is very
frightening what took place.
And what happens next is equally as important,not just to America, but to
the entire World as a whole.

much of what you said is true. You are saying however that the expected
action the US will take is to carpet bomb whomever. I really doubt that will
happen.
The point I was making is that out of respect for those who have been hurt
or died, hold off on the dissing of this country for a while.
