Those values are gone for good here in the US because people here are
concerned with one thing only: numero uno. We Americans want want want at
any cost. We measure success by the size of the SUV we drive and the house
we live in, not how we treat others or what actions we take to make this
world a better place... Very very sad.

I don't think they are gone for good...most of my family and friends all
share these values. There are many churches, organizations and communities
who promote these values.

I have a seven year old and I teach him love and compassion for all
(regardless of race, creed, etc.)

It's starts individually.

Who is fighting? A heated argument is different form fighting..in my
opinion. I hope I do not come off as fighting.

I wasn't referring to you. :)
