The willingness of the nation to follow our leaders to war was greatly
eroded in Vietnam, and has been all but eliminated by the Bush
administrations misdirection on Iraq.
Fighting terrorists in Afghanistan has plenty of support. Iraq is a
different story. If the administration had sent 150,000 troops to
Afghanistan instead of Iraq, the war would be over, Al-Queda would be
destroyed and everyone would be home.
