Probably not much because it doesn't affect many people. When the
impact of the boss's decisions affect enough people, you do hear about
it. Ever have an automotive plant close near you? That makes the news.
How about Enron?

The repercussions of going to war are staggering, whether you are for
or against it, whether they turn out positive or negative. People are
bound to sit up and take notice and speak their minds because their
personal welfare is at stake.
