Well, you are missing something very important, where is the Uranium, if
they didn't actually buy any, then they really didn't do anything wrong.

Regarding your link to France, do you think it is possible that French
Intelligence manufactured the documents and was working to attempt to catch
Saddam trying to buy Uranium?

The problem is there is no smoking gun, period, there is bad intel
everywhere, many questions need to be asked. Does it warrant not voting for
Bush, I don't know.

Also, what would Saddam have done with the Uranium if he had it? Based on
what we currently know, there is no evidence he could have actually done
anything to create weapons. He had nuclear plants and other materials he
could have used for Uranium.

There are plenty of reasons to not vote for either of the main candidates,
I'm not blaming the Bush administration directly for this, however they do
get some of the blame, as does Kerry and the other senators who voted for
the bill to invade.

Sorry, it was joke. I love to point out the bias of
the NY Times.
They ended the story by stating that the documents are
now known to be forgeries.
They want you to think it's all about those docs but
it isn't.
They were decoys. The original facts are still there.

French and British intelligence separately told the
United States about possible Iraqi attempts to buy
uranium in the African nation of Niger, the report
said. The report from France is significant not only
because Paris opposed the Iraq war but also because
Niger is a former French colony and French companies
control uranium production there.

Joseph Wilson, a retired U.S. diplomat the CIA sent to
investigate the Niger story, also found evidence of
Iraqi contacts with Nigerian officials, the report
said.
