XBox will not have a hard drive either.
Looks like you may become familiar with the Memory Card shuffle as well.

Although, seriously, Sony has hinted strongly that the system won't come
with a harddrive, but will have it as an add-on. Once you buy the drive (or
so the rumors go) you'll also get PVR functionality a la the PSX (without
the DVD burning).

lol maybe they will *gasp* throw a HD into that puppy so you won't ever need
a memory card unless you are taking your games elsewhere ;>
