That's weird, because that's exactly what I imagined you as. I must have
meet you at MAX or something...

Fo really though! I'm about fed up with patents...Sony, poor evil dumb-ass
Sony*, is getting sued by a small company for producing digital camera's and
PDAs with built-in digital cameras:

The company, Ampex, is going after Sony first, then it's on to Kodak, HP,
Dell, etc...

Can we write our Senators or something? Isn't there a happy medium somewhere
along the idea of a patent, where I can't just patent a logical evolution of
one or two products, then sit on my arse and let someone else spend $ on
developing it, bringing it to market, and competing in the real world. Then
I'll sue the crap out of everybody.  All this current process is going to
do, besides incubating lawsuits, is to force every company out there to file
a 1000 patents a year just to cover their ass in the future. Hell, maybe
I'll change my tune in a couple of years, when one of my patents rakes in
millions from Dell, Sony, Nintendo, etc. And maybe I'll be a scum-sucking
frivolous son of a beach->

Tyler {Silcox - is my last name really that bad ;-) }

* Sony's stupid and evil because they are really screwing it up for
consumers by pushing their own standards and controlling mindsets in an
already crowded marketplace, instead of leveraging their R&D power into
creating the ultimate techno-gadgets.  For example, their new 20 gig music
player and their PSP won't play MP3 songs, only their ATRAC3 format. But
their software's kind enough to transfer MP3s into AT3s(?) for you, at the
cost of quality, of course.  I'm going to patent "giving consumers what they
want".  I've already written off how cool the PSP could have been. Now I'm
just hoping for the PS3 to kick some serious butt, it's Sony's last chance
for me.
