I suppose that depends on your definition of "gay". I'm not homosexual
no. But I'm also not heterosexual, so if your definition of "gay" is
"not heterosexual" (presumably because you believe that homosexual
acts are evil and that this evil is what distinguishes gay people from
others) then yes, I am. Otherwise generally speaking no. But it does
put me in an "alternative sexuality" category which is also subject to
similar discrimination and abuse. You never hear about "bi-bashing",
but bisexual men (and probably women) have been beaten bloody if not
to death by the same homophobic pricks who do these things gays. So
although I don't consider myself "in the gay category" (although I
don't really feel I need a pigeon hole anyway), I'm offered the same
opportunities to be disenfranchised and abused by those who feel that
there is something wrong with gays.
