certainly have been discriminated against. There are at least some parallels
there. They are railed against even now in lots of supposedly "christian"
churches.
Blacks certainly have had a terrible time in the history of the US and
Europe, but are by no means unique.

True.
But again to compare the plight of blacks in this country to the Gay plight
is just not right.
It's not on the same level at all.

the sad thing is there will always be bigotry/racism within humanity. we are
terrible creatures with the things we do to each other in the name of
whatever. right now one group is opressed somewhere by someone who, not too
long ago was opressed or enslaved by someone else. it wont end. every
creed/race/ethnic group gets their turn.

it does? where?
And fighting racism with racism seems rather odd to me. WHite, black,
purple, green...you should never have to advance because of "tokenism". It's
a shame you feel you had to settle for that.

uh, thats why he said "OFFICIALLY". We all know it still goes on, but
state
mandated racism is a thing of the past.....ah, unless you count
affirmative
action.
