There are SO many factors that affect diagnosis and treatment of a patient.....it'd take a dedicated racist at that level to make sure he or she is "lessening" a minority's treatment based on that one factor. Which is not to say it doesn't happen. If it does, it makes that person extremely dangerous, for obvious reasons.

why?
Because of the issues we've been discussing...racism and discrimination.
I plan to combat it by forcing the medical community to answer to this
accusation.
Even before reading this I could tell that my symptoms (tho very few, I'm
pretty healthy..knocking on wood) were just brushed off like "Just a little
complaint". Tho I never really thought it was because I was black.
I have always made my doctors give me the treatment that satisfies me. I
have even asked a doctor if he would give the same treament to his daughter
if she had the same compaint and he gave me a completely different diagnosis
AND treament.

Why do you think that is Monique? And what would you propose to combat it?

I am just now reading an article about health care in the US with regards
to
minorities.
How would you like to wake up on a nice sunny monday morning and read
this:
Minorities More Likely to Receive Lower-Quality Health Care, Regardless of
Income and Insurance Coverage
