you to be in a minority :) but that doesn't mean they are biased. Now
there *is* a little thing called a margin of error, which allowed
different media to simultaneously say Bush was ahead and Kerry was
ahead this week... but this is a matter of headlines not reflecting
all the caveats properly. Statistical data can actually be quite
accurate if properly handled.
But my point is that once more I click a link that you say proves that
Canadians hate Americans, and gee, it says nothing of the kind. It
says Canadians hope Bush loses the election.
I hate to harp on the Canadian issue, but I spent my childhood there
after all, have visited frequently since, and am in touch with a
number of relatives there. So it's something I know a little about.
And I simply do not believe that a Canadian journalist would say that
Canadians hate Americans. Many of them would not want to live here,
but that is not the same thing. Hoping that the US will get a
president who won't compound the acid rain problem is not the same
thing either.
>So you're saying the 45% poll is all lies? OK, it very
well could be. Do you swear your 36% number is
accurate?
I think I would believe a reputable polling company before I would
believe a tabloid. I can't *swear* no but I believe that this is a
reasonably accurate picture of public opinion.
>You're taking things out of context. I said, for the
fourth time, the Canadian journalist said that's how
Canadians felt about Americans when O'Reilly asked her
about the poll. SHE said it wasn't Bush they really
didn't like it was the US.
I think you misremember. If not, there should be a transcript or
something out there,
>Nope. You wouldn't necessarily be anti-American but
you would be wrong.
Ok, but if 85% of the Canadian population says this *they* are
anti-American? You aren't making sense.

Did you ever wonder about the people that didn't agree
with you? A lot of people, most Americans, believe
he's making the world a better safer place. It's fine
if you don't believe it but don't dismiss my thoughts
just because yours differ.
<g> I wonder about the people who don't agree with me all the time :)
Seriously, *this* is an opinion, fair enough. And so is yours. But the
facts you are giving me to support your opinion are just not doing the
job for you :)

I just don't feel loved today :)
awww :) just cause I said you should be bitchslapped if you believed
that? But you said you don't... wait... you said you don't think I am
anti-American for saying this... but Canadians are anti-American for
saying this... but wait... I'm Canadian...
hmm.
