Polls like these don't mean very much, IMHO.  Like someone mentioned before - you can rate someone high for making decisions and sticking to them but the real question is whether the decision was correct.  I also remember reading an article in Time magazine that said that once Bush makes up his mind he never changes it even with overwhelming reasons to do so.  Just look at the crap he just stirred up with Cuba based on falsehoods.  The evidence is there that the allegations were clearly unfounded but GW will stick by the lies and not change his opinion.  That's scary.

  I don't see the connection.  These polls are important.  Not because they
  measure something that is innately  important but because the politicians
  put a lot of faith into these polls and will make this election about the
  issues the polls say are important.
