A few weeks ago, my cat became very lethargic. Even more than normal.
I
started to get worried so I called the vet. The vet asked if the cat
was
eating ok and I said yes. Asked if it was taking water and I said yes
again. Enquired about digestive functions, if those were ok and I said
that
the litter box is full every day. So he suggested that I put a teaspoon
of
gas in the cats milk dish. I didn't quite get it and then he explained
to
me that they're not quite sure why it works, but it's common for cats,
especially one that her age, 15, to get like that. This usually takes
care
of it. So later that evening, I did as the vet suggested. A few
minutes
after she finished she started running around like crazy. Climbing up
curtains, flying up and down the stairs, and generally scaring the hell
out
of our two cocker spaniels (they're sissies anyway). After about a 5
minutes of this, the cat, who was half way up the curtain, stopped dead
in
its tracks and fell to the ground. She was still alive but right back
to
the previous lethargic state. I called the vet back and explained what
happened and you know what he told me? She ran out of gas!

That was my joke for the day!
