Subject: Re: today's Kerryism
Given his admitted problems with drinking, and the rumoured cocaine
use, one of the things going around the rumour mill sites is that Bush
may be suffering from dry drunk syndrome - the obsessiveness, sudden
turn of moods, fits of swearing and absolute certitude. Combined with
the language problems this might be a problem. While I don't
necessarily agree with the sources, its an interesting take on some of
the man's attitudes:

To characterize a dry drunk:
"Dry drunk" traits consist of:
* Exaggerated self-importance and pomposity
* Grandiose behavior
* A rigid, judgmental outlook
* Impatience
* Childish behavior
* Irresponsible behavior
* Irrational rationalization
* Projection
* Overreaction
Also for the record here's a putative copy of a dui arrest report for GW
Bush:

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/bushdmv1.html
and some other fun stuff he's indulged in:

Many of these traits appear to apply to the man. However admittedly I
am biased in the issue, and would love to see a psychologist do a more
objective take on the man's personality.
