Claimed it was a rumor and circulated anyway.  We all know that this is how
rumors turn into truth.  It is a very effective smear technique.

The DUI piece has been known, admitted to, and driven behavior change.  That
is a good lesson and part of life.  I do not place this as a negative on
anyone who reacts in the same fashion, unless someone else got hurt in the
process.  Notice that his was different approach then Ted Kennedy's, who
killed someone but never changed and remains a democratic party leader.

I claimed it was a rumor. But the DUI charges are no rumour nor is that
video.
