Well most actually all my sites except for my blog are behind firewalls.

I don't know whether I would call myself a snob, but I have made it a
commitment to drag all my cf family into the 21st century via web standards,
css and accessibility which is why I nag you all so much.

but heck, I definitely understand the time constraints.  However I am
finding that the longer I work with CSS etc, the faster I am at getting
stuff done and the less rework I have to do later.

If the reasons you are not doing CSS/Web Standards is that you just perceive
it to be too hard, then do yourself a favor and spend some time learning it.
Buy a book, subscribe to the CSS list, read the css wiki or take my class in
October here in DC.  Spend as much time on learning the front end stuff as
you do learning the backend stuff and you will be surprised as to what it
can do.

Btw, you can define a height on a td in CSS.  td{height: 25px;} = <td
height="25" >.
