saying I think the flights happened. Conceivably the flights from LA
to Boston or Tampa to Louisville were the only ones that early
however. I'd have to look. So? The only people on them were associated
with the Saudi royal family. This was at a time when transplant organs
were grounded, c'mon :)
If you are going to do something as drastic as close the airspace,
then allow a select few to fly, it best be for a damn good national
security reason. Which would be a call the president should at least
be in on, in my humble opinion. Whether he *was* ... hmm. According to
my current reading, Reagan was unaware of big chunks of his
presidency. We may have survived that but it doesn't strike me as a
good rule of thumb.

That was I, and there's no point, if the flights did
take place before the 14th they would have been
domestic flights not international. Even if they were
international IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH BUSH.
