truck bomb. The aircraft, or rather pieces of it, including the
engines were found, right were they were expected to be if the
aircraft crashed into the building. Moreover that section of the
pentagon had just undergone a significant construction upgrade
involving hardening the building against explsions. This included a
kevlar lining of the inner walls, a new type of window plexiglass etc.
The Washington Post had a big series of articles about the whole thing
a couple of months after Sept 11. Snopes does a very good job of
debunking this sort of historic revisionism.
