While certainly terrorism exists around the world, don't tell me that
there have been events of this magnitude. Certainly America has had a
lot fewer terrorist attacks compared to other countries, but can you
point out an event on the scale of what happaned on 911?

Err... I must have missed the point where we _demanded_ help of other
countries.

So what? If you ask for help from a friend and the friend doesn't help,
you have every right to stop being friendly with that person. It's not
"unfair", rather, it's simple give and take. Like I said, we aren't
_forcing_ anyone to do anything, but what is wrong with saying, "Hey, we
need your help, and if you don't help out, you probably shouldn't expect
help from us in the future."

You can't honestly be surprised that the American media would focus on
an American terrorist attack. I'm sure the Israeli(sp?) media spends a
lot more time on Palenstian(sp) attacks then other news agencies. I'm
sure you hear a lot more about the IRA in Ireland than you do in France.
