Agreed. Including the United States

Now wait a mintue...how do you support this argument?

The ONLY country that has nuclear weapons AND has used them is US, the
good 'ol United Muh'fukin' States. Keepers of the peace, good guys,
the white hats. The sayer of nay to proliferation.

India, Pakistan, Israel (allegedly ;-)), China, Russia and most of the
Republics Formerly Known as Soviet, all have 'the bomb'. Every single
one of the countries that has nuclear weapons today (except the US)
has been, at some point, considered just crazy enough to use them. But
the US is the only one that has, the only one "crazy" enough to use
one.

Now, that being said, I do not think it would be a good idea for ANY
country, to develop nuclear weapons programs that doesn't have them
now.

We should not only bomb them back to the stone age, we should bounce the rubble.

On what basis? That they exercise their rights? I understand that that
is how the US deals with dissonant voices during party conventions and
visits of the president, but I don't think that is a sound basis for
foreign policy.
