Ms. Cheney chose to make herself part of her father's candidacy and
that makes her name fair game for any of the candidates to use just
the same as Karl Rove.
Mr. Kerry was responding to a question about whether he thought
homosexuality was genetic or chosen. He responded by saying that he
thought it was genetic and used Ms. Cheney as example. He was saying
that if someone in Mr. Cheney's family in gay, it MUST be genetic
since nobody with Mr. Cheney as a father would choose that; and if
they had chosen it rather than been born that way, Mr. Cheney doesn't
seem like a person who would accept that choice.
It's not immoral to cite a fact that supports a theory - especially a
fact the has chosen to be part of the debate.
